NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two Redditch eateries, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.
Meadow Farm, at Dagnell End Road, Redditch, was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on October 27.
And The Lounge, at 1244 Evesham Road, Astwood Bank, Redditch, was also given a score of five on October 27.
It means that of Redditch's 27 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 22 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
A rating of five means hygiene standards are very good, four means hygiene standards are good, three means hygiene standards are generally satisfactory, two means some improvement is necessary, a rating of one means major improvement is necessary and a rating of zero means urgent improvement is required.
People can see the results of all food hygiene inspections online at ratings.food.gov.uk.
