PEOPLE can get in the festive spirit next month by joining The Primrose Choir for their annual Christmas Concert.

The concert will take place at 7pm on Friday, December 8 at Christ Church, Matchborough Centre, and the choir will be joined by children of Matchborough First School.

People can expect to hear Christmas songs that will "warm your heart and get you into the festive spirit".

The choir will be running a Christmas raffle and refreshments will be provided.

A spokesperson for the Primrose Choir said: "Our annual Christmas Concert is a wonderful event that The Primrose Choir looks forward to every year. This year’s concert will be made extra special by having the lovely children of Matchborough First School sing alongside us.

"The money raised from the concert will be donated to Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre ensuring they can continue their vital care and support this Christmas and into the future."

Tickets are £5 per adult, children are free and you can buy tickets at the door.

Primrose Hospice & Family Support Centre have thanked all the choir members and organisers for all their "hard work and dedication" in supporting Primrose Hospice over the years.

As an independent charity, they rely on the support of individuals and businesses to help them raise the £1.95 million needed each year for them to provide our services free to the local community.
